A change of path

Hey beauties! I'm back after a long break. Not a fun break at all; had my exams, the very last exams of my bachelors!


No, I am not quitting my blog. You may have thought so, judging by the title today. The thing is, I'm going with a change in my career plans. Up till now I was determined on becoming an Actuary; giving my SOA exams and all that jazz. But it hit me just now that I've never been truly happy with my studies! It's not my dream to be an Actuary and help people with their risk assessments. Believe me when I say that I feel like I haven't truly learned anything in these 4 years of my bachelor's. All I have done is calculate stuff, find the mean of stuff, distribute things with probabilities & study the patterns of the stock market. Which brings me to a very important self-discovery.

I don't care about the stock market!

Now that that's out, I'm going back to my old love. Arts & design. What I actually wanted to study. And above all, it makes me happiest! And I don't care if I won't be able to make enough money or find work or what the society thinks! I WILL be happy and that's all I care about.

I will be enrolling in either Textile or Fashion Design in January. Will have classes 3 times a week and that way I will be able to continue my false nails store & write my blog in peace! And when I'm done, I will do all the courses I've ever wanted to.

For once, I am actually looking forward to the new year!
